这是真的，确实中文不大好，所以我们周末继续上中文课。

这个也是Roald Dahl的系列一种，我觉得蓝思分类高了，我读下来感觉在700上下。书不厚。Hoppy先生是个孤独又非常害羞的老头，他住在一幢公寓里。他的楼下住着一位好心肠的老太太Mrs. Silver。Hoppy先生一直爱慕Silver太太。老头和老太经常在各自的阳台上相互问好。Hoppy先生从来不敢表达他的爱意。而Silver太太则把她全身心的爱倾注在宠物小乌龟Alfie身上，这只乌龟住在阳台上。于是Hoppy先生就研究怎么用乌龟来追求Mrs Silver. 书不是很难，我家泛读自己读完了，就有点情情爱爱的东西有点看不太懂。哈哈

这是英国著名作家Edith Nesbit的名作之一，说的是一个富裕的家庭遭受变故，父亲蒙冤入狱，母亲带着三个孩子从大房子搬去乡村的简陋的房舍居住。然而他们一家乐于助人，帮助了很多人，还挽救了一列车乘客的生命。终于在贵人的帮助下，父亲沉冤得雪。这个故事也被演成很多舞台剧，很受欢迎。

故事有很多简化版，这学期小朋友从学校拿回来了原版。我翻了几页，发现真的不容易。首先他拿回来的版本字非常非常小，几乎没有插图，真的就是扎扎实实大部头书一本，看得很吃力。本来打算精读的，因为确实很难，而且很多100年前的时代背景，很多英式老式的名词，物件，甚至植物，要完全读懂不容易。但是精读几个星期发现太慢了，一天只能看得上几页（因为字太小了），真要仔细看这本书要看几个月了。于是采取每天泛读一部分，再精读几页的战略，加快速度。预计六月应该能看完吧，希望~

这是又一本Roald Dahl的作品，是最著名的作品之一，史蒂文·斯皮尔伯格还拍过一部电影。BFG的意思是Big Friend Giant。 剧情简单的说在巨人国里，所有巨人都会吃人。唯独身长八公尺，在群体中显得较为矮小的BFG不吃人。善良的他会在小朋友睡觉的時候把好梦用小喇叭吹进小朋友的脑袋里，所以又被成为「吹梦巨人」。 直到有一天一位名叫苏菲的小女孩发现了他，之后便与英国女王，三人一同成功制伏侵略人类世界的吃人巨人。书并不是特别难，我看了第一页就很喜欢场景的描述，一般自由阅读一年左右的小朋友可以自己看。目前我家小朋友还有1/5就看完了，他很喜欢。

还是Roald Dahl的书，这本书不难，都不分章节了，图片的插图也多，可以作为初章来读。这好像是印象里小朋友自己看的第一本Roald Dahl的书，翻几下就看完了。说的是有一个小女孩的指头有神奇的力量，当他生气的时候，就会全身发热，右手的手指会发出电流。这股电流一旦跳出去触及那些令人生气的人，那些人就会发生一连串的怪事。魔指指向了爱打猎的葛瑞格一家人，因為他們射杀了野鸭，激怒了爱护动物的小女孩，因此這一家人变成了鸭子，让这家人受到教训。

这是一本挺有意思的书，书的英语不难，但是诙谐幽默的笔锋和很多情绪的表达低龄儿童不容易掌握。说的是一个淘气猫Tuff的自述日记，从周一开始铺垫他做的坏事，直到周四他杀了邻居的兔子还把尸体拖回家来，一家人都震惊了。然后父母想出了一个掩饰“罪行”办法，但是却发生了意想不到的结果。昨天晚上我把书先看了一遍，今天和小朋友一起看，一边看一边观察他是否能明白句子背后的意思，还讨论了故事的情节。
