前面几个单元里,vipkid 有一部分是讲五感描述的(L5里)我觉得很棒。那个单元的写作project,娃选了用5感来描述一个他去过的地方。他要写国庆去印尼看科莫多龙。其实到L5最后一单元复习单元他又选了这个topic,后面写的是去Niagara falls,不过夹在日记本里交到学校去了还没发回来,回头再说。
五感就是see, hear, smell, taste, touch,其实我觉得还可以加上一个feel,然后用这几个感官来描述自身的经历。我觉得对于平时描述性语言贫乏,只知道写流水账的小孩来说非常有帮助。通过用五感来思考,再加上一些相关的形容词,就能让文章生动起来了。

那个单元里有一篇阅读的课文也是写的trip,人家这样写
好了然后开始准备写作。首先我让他画个思维导图做draft。
在beginning里写好character 和setting 和做什么,在middle里写上5感的观察,选择了see, hear 和touch,他说没闻到什么于是smell不写,taste他说喝了椰子汁,我觉得和主题关系不大就建议他不要写。然后ending里写上feeling。

然后开始写,大概30分钟不到写完。120字左右。让他自己读了两遍改正语法错误。
最后完稿。
My Trip to Indonesia
Finally it's National Vacation! Me, dad and mom went to Indonesia to see komodo dragons.
I saw two komodo dragons, they had big mouths, long tails and strong legs. They were also big like an adult. One komodo dragon was drinking water, the other was hiding under a staircase. I heard the guide. He said komodo dragons live in holes and baby komodo dragons can climb trees. I pretended to touch the komodo dragons when I was taking a photo. But I can't really touch it because it will bite me and it's poisonous and I would die.
At last we went back home and I was excited. I hope I would see a komodo dragon again!
前阵子写的Niagara falls在此基础上又有比较大的进步,回头有空再写写过程。
