说到句式
对于这一点,娃算是花样精蛮多的。目前线上的老师很鼓励,夸他句子结构写得好。我也是奔着鼓励态度的,鼓励他做句子的联合或者插入更多细节。
除了让他自己感觉到嗯写长句子比较好之外
有的时候会一起玩句子扩展,就像《How to Write Sentences》一书里这样。抛给他最简单的句子,
比如,A dog runs.然后一步步对不同成分扩展
1. 加入对dog的描述,用5个,
包括形容词,如plump and cunning
包括介词短语,如with a hat on its head
包括定语从句,如that won the race last year
包括插入语, 如a pooddle named Shaggy Tony,
包括分词短语,如rescued from the forest by Kate,
2.加入对run的描述,
包括副词,如quickly
包括word choice把run换成更好的词,如dash,
包括介词短语比如with me,
包括使用修辞比如as fast as lightning 或like。
3. 加入时间
时间包括介词短语, 如in the chilly morning
包括when/as/while引导的句子
包括before或after引导的句子或短语
包括until或till引导的句子
4. 加入地点
包括介词短语in, through, from to, between, over, by,
包括where引导的句子, 如where it was hit by a naughty kid
5. 加入其他组分,
比如because,for引导的原因,
比如so, therefore引导的结果,
比如and, but
比如unless,if之类。
6. 然后讨论除了让subject 在开头,能不能把其他句子成分放在最前面,带来前后文句式的变化。
但是学校里老师虽说没讲长句不好,可是给的分却不高。谈及句子,她说现在一年级是期望他们把,I can run. I like strawberries这样的句子写好...
个人感觉,新二的学习对于长句子写作是有帮助的。
另外就是4000词,没想到吧,因为单词释义通常就是各种定状补语从句。
(但另一方面我又觉得其实一年前的现在,刚开始写的时候,他其实也用很多长句子...)

要求
Write 5 sentences about the Ice Age. Be careful that don't use run on sentences.
这是1月份的一篇,因为限制句子数量,所以有意识的用了长句子。括号里是老师改的
Do you know about the ice age (Ice Age)?It was when a climate change caused the planet to cool so animals had to adapt with it. For example, smilodon (Smilodon) had to adapt tougher teeth to catch large prey. Another one was the wooly mammoth that had to adapt to the weather by growing thick hair to protect it from the cold. Why did the animals die out? Some scientists think that people killed too many of them, but other scientists think that a sudden climate change made them die. There was also an ice age (Ice Age) called little ice age that caused large famines across the land because the crops were ruined by the ice.
